200 laps at Iowa proved tough on some. Jeff Schmidt took off to an early lead, and pulled out to about 3 second lead.
Starting July 8th, our Nascar Generation's Series is designed to take racers through the years of Nascar Cup Series racing. Starting with the 1987 Ford T-Bird and Chevy Monte Carlo, racing iconic tracks of Darlington, North Wilksboro, Rockingham, and Legacy Daytona, this part of the series is set to align with some of Nascar's most historic tracks.
After those 4 races, we move to the Generation 4 Cup Cars, on iRacing, known currently as the ARCA Menards Chevrolet Impala, for 4 more races. Then the series will move to the Generation 5 cars, currently known as the Legacy Nascar Cup Chevrolet Impala COT - 2009. Finally the series will run 4 races in the current Generation 6 cars, the Chevrolet Camero ZL1, Ford Mustang, and Toyota Camry.
This series will utilize the 1987 style Nascar Points System. No Chase, no playoffs, no points resets.
This unique series, looks to be challenging because just as a driver gets accustom to the current car being use, we switch it up and move to the next. This series is going to show true guts, skill, and determination of our drivers.
We hope to see you on track for this very unique series. The schedule is provided below.
